JetFolders is a simple data synchronization and archiving tool. Source and destination (referred to as "Left" and "Right" in this documentation) can be Windows file shares anywhere on your network or local directories on the machine where JetFolders tool is installed.

JetFolders can run in Docker containers deployed on Windows and Linux desktops, laptops and servers, Intel-based Macs, Raspberry Pi and other ARM devices. Check out Docker website if you need help installing and running Docker.

Two main scenarios supported by JetFolders are:

• "Archive" - unidirectional copy of files from one location to another
• "Sync" - bidirectional synchronization

JetFolders performs a lot of optimizations to make sure only changed files are copied over and, in most cases, is faster than other tools in this category.

Use Cases

• Laptop user keeps her work files in a local folder. She wants to synchronize them with location on her company file server when she is in the office.
• System Administrator setup a NAS Appliance to keep backup copies of network file shares. He sets up JetFolders to periodically archive those shares to shares on NAS.
• Another user wants to sync files from her Linux workstation to company file server.
